Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warwickshire did an announced Enter and View visit to Station street Surgery on 28th April 2015. The team later did a revisit to the surgery on 21st March 2016.

One of the recommendations made from the original visit was that the surgery consult with patients regarding the concerns raised about opening hours. This could be conducted in conjunction with the Patient Participation Group to gain a more representative view than the sample size of 29 respondents the team talked to.

The recommendation was not met by the surgery. The response received was “We cannot do any more hours surgery is open from 8.30-18.30 for patients we are one fulltime equivalent GP. We also have the branch surgery open Monday- Friday. Our hours are core contract hours and we adhere to them.”
