Summary of report content

Healthwatch Sutton conducted a survey from November 2020 to January 2021 with 113 people relating to their experiences of the NHS Test and Tract system which tracks COVID-19 symptoms, and helps tackle the spread of the disease.

The report found that people were not confident in the NHS Test and Trace system in relation to reducing transmission of COVID-19. 96% of people reported that they would still follow the advice received from the system. The most common reasons for not downloading the app was ‘concern about the use of my personal information’ and ‘use of my location’.

The report will be shared with stakeholders, such as the Sutton Council and NHS Sutton.
