Summary of report content

This report looks at the experiences of young carers in Bolton. The research was carried out by Healthwatch Bolton.

A total of 19 people gave their opinions as part of this report. Most of these were young people, but the views of parents are also included.

The comments recieved were mostly negative, this is due to the challenges that caring places on young people. In addition there were examples of how young people wanted more support from services.

A set of recommendations were made as part of this report, no response is attached to the report.
