What young people think of health and care services

Between September 2019 and March 2020, Young Healthwatch Wiltshire went out and about talking to young people aged 16-25 about the work of Healthwatch and gathered their feedback about local health and care services, including GPs, dentists, CAMHS, pharmacists, sexual health services, A & E and hospital appointments. They spoke to a total of 197 young people.
Generally young people felt that it was staff attitude and good communication that made interactions with healthcare services positive. Young people felt that waiting times to be seen was the main area for improvement.
