Summary of report content

Healthwatch Northumberland set out their key achievements for the period January to June 2024.  During this period, they received feedback from 417 people about their experiences of health and social care.  The key three service areas they heard about were:

  • GPs
  • Hospitals
  • Dentists

The top three areas for signposting were:

  • Adult social care
  • Cost of living support
  • Covid-19 vaccinations

Overall they felt that people's perceptions of services appears to be improving, from the increase of positive comments.
