Summary of report content

Healthwatch Lancashire reports on the feedback it received in June 2023.  During that period it heard from 352 people.

They heard most about access to GP services, including difficulties getting a GP appointment, especially for people who are digitally excluded.

People still struggle to find an NHS dentist.  When they receive emergency care they can't get a referral for further treatment without being registered with a dentist.

People generally feel they have a good service at hospitals.

Relatives of care home residents said their loved ones were happy with the home.  There was negative feedback about agency staff being on duty.
