Summary of report content

Healthwatch Doncaster undertook an analysis of the data from their main survey on Covid-19 vaccinations to identify the experiences of people under 35.  427 people under the age of 35 responded to the survey.

Over two in five have not been vaccinated yet.  Of these 70% indicated that they will take up the offer of being vaccinated.

Three in ten people said they would not or that they did not know if they would take up the offer of a vaccine.

Their main reasons for not being vaccinated were:

  • Lack of information about the vaccine
  • Safety of the vaccine
  • Concerns about its impact on fertility
  • Concerns about information on social media.
