Summary of report content

This is a report on research undertaken by Luv2MeetU using a micro grant from Healthwatch Sheffield.  The purpose is to hear from groups that are trusted partners in their communities to ensure that their voices are heard by decision makers.

Luv2MeetU is a friendship and dating organisation for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. They spoke to 14 of their members to understand their experience of accessing and using health and care services.

The report looks at:

  • The demographics of the people who took part
  • Accessing support for mental health and wellbeing
  • Accessing statutory health and social care services
  • Access to information and involvement
