Summary of report content

Healthwatch Devon have received 389 completed Speak Out forms from children and young people. The forms asked young people to give feedback on their GP service, nurse, dentist and local hospital. Included in the report were the responses from Healthwatch Devon’s ‘Being Healthy Survey’ to date.

The report indicated that young people generally have a positive view of health professionals, with the majority of respondents rating each service as ‘good’. The responses from the ‘Being Healthy Survey’ indicated that there are a range of reasons that cause young people to be less active. Respondents indicated a number of ways in which health professionals could support them to be more active.

The report did not make any recommendations.
