Healthwatch Blackpool conducted an announced Enter & View visit to Ryecourt Nursing Home on 4th August 2023. 

They spoke with 4 residents during the visit, who fedback on the following areas: daily life, food, quality of care and activities. The visit was overall positive.

The following recommendations were made to the home: 

  • Clearly promote regular opportunities for carers and loved ones to provide ongoing feedback regarding Ryecourt Nursing Home.
  • Within the existing feedback folder from carers and loved ones, one family member suggested badges so family members know the names of carers and staff. Has this been implemented?
  • Provide monthly resident meetings to gather regular feedback from residents.
