Healthwatch Sefton reported on their activities during 2018-19. These included: carrying out various listening and feedback events, as well as Enter and View visits and engagement days; helping to resolve local disabled and older people’s access issues to local health centres; supporting the families of children and young people with special educational needs; developing Young Healthwatch Sefton; gathering feedback from care home residents about and making recommendations for local dental and continence services; and working in partnership with local organisations and groups.
Healthwatch Sefton also reported on: how they have provided people with advice and information; the work of their team of volunteers; finances; and plans for the next year. The report also features messages from Healthwatch Sefton’s Chair and Manager, and the Chair of Healthwatch England.
