Summary of report content

Healthwatch Wakefield report on key themes in the feedback they received and the impact they achieved in Q2 2025/26.  They heard from 340 people.

There were six key themes in the data:

  • Blockers to care are not being adequately addressed
  • Care pathways are long without enough communication
  • Patients aren't being taken seriously
  • There are missed opportunities and delayed care as a result
  • Poor patient experience because of staff attitudes
  • Community and voluntary services make a big difference
