Summary of report content

This report shares a summary of the feedback collected by Healthwatch Northumberland from July to September 2021. During this period, Healthwatch Northumberland continued to work in different ways due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Feedback and enquiries were received via telephone calls (39%), emails (23%), post (3%), website (8%), social media (3%), engagement events (21%), and meetings (2%).

Between July and September, Healthwatch Northumberland received feedback from 85 people. 35 of these people were signposted to other services. Excluding enquires purely relating to signposting, feedback was largely negative. 72% of responses had a negative sentiment, with 11% neutral and 8% positive.
