Summary of report content

During this period Healthwatch Devon engaged with more than 1,450 through consumer champion work, events and activities link to project work and surveys.

300 calls during the quarter to the Healthwatch Champions at Citizens Advice were 47% concern, 27% compliment, 17% complaint, 5% point of view and 4% request for information.

Feedback was recorded for the following with the main issues, in order of the number of responses;

Hospital Services: Access to Hospital Services, Staff Attitudes, Appointments, Waiting Times and Quality of Treatment.

Social Care Services: Access to Social Care Services, Waiting Times, Cleanliness, Fees and Charges, Service Coordination.

Primary Care: Staff Attitudes, Quality of Treatment, Consultation, Access to Pharmacy, Access to Dentistry.

Mental Health Care: Choice, Access to Mental Health Services, Quality of Treatment, Suitability of Provider/Staff.
