Healthwatch Bromley report on the themes in the insights they received in Q3 2022/23. During this period they received 645 reviews of services and carried out 56 visits across the borough.
They received 158 reviews about GP services. Of these, 46% were positive. Only 18% said it was very easy to get a GP appointment and 11% said it was very easy to get through on the phone. Three in five felt that the attitude of staff at the service was good.
They received 197 reviews of hospital services. Of these 83% were positive. Nine in ten people said that their experience of getting a referral or appointment at hospital was excellent or good. Forty five percent found waiting times at the hospital to be OK. Almost all found the attitude of staff to be good or excellent.
They received 91 reviews of dental services. The majority of reviews that mentioned staff were positive. Residents found that they appreciated the quality and professionalism of the dental care they received. However people reported long waiting times to be seen by a dentist.
