Summary of report content

In May 2024, Healthwatch in Sussex undertook a short survey to elicit experiences of people being seen by a Physician's Associate.  65 people responded.

Over seven in ten people understood the difference between a Physician Associate and a doctor.  Just over half had been seen or treated by a Physician Associate at a GP surgery.  Half of these were satisfied with the experience and over two in five understood why they were seeing a Physician Associate rather than a GP.
