Healthwatch Kent and Healthwatch Medway spoke to 40 community pharmacists to get an update on how the Covid-19 pandemic had affected their services.

Ove half said staff morale had improved since the first wave, but nearly a third said it hadn’t.

Nearly nine in ten said that the response to equipment and PPE requests had improved since the first wave of the pandemic.

Four in five said they don’t feel access to primary care has improved for them.

Over half could identify areas of the community which were digitally excluded from accessing services

Over a third said that the roll out of 111 First had impacted on their team.
