This report details feedback that Healthwatch Oxfordshire collected about people's experiences of local stroke services. They spoke to 40 people with experience of the local services.
People felt that the services provided had improved more recently, and heard about excellent experiences in hospitals, the enablement centre, and with occupational therapists and social services. However, they also identified a lack of follow-up support at home after hospital discharge, and mixed experiences with follow-up support from GPs.
