This report provides patient views on the future of Charing Cross Hospital and their experiences of using the hospital.
Healthwatch CWL designed a survey to collect people’s experiences of using the service and their views in its future.
People were asked to complete the survey during outreach at Charing Cross Hospital for four days: Friday 17th, Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd November 2017. A total number of 218 responses were received.
The questions covered the following themes: Communications and Involvement, A&E and Wider Services, beds, community services and accessibility, Charing Cross in the national context, funding, and technical infrastructure.
The report was presented to the Hammersmith and Fulham Health, Adult Social Care and Social Inclusion Policy and Accountability Committee (PAC) meeting on the 30th January. The Committee welcomed the report and recommended that it should be presented to the Board Meetings of Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust Board and Hammersmith and Fulham CCG and at the Joint Health and Social Care Scrutiny Committee.
