Healthwatch Derby conducted a survey with 113 people during April to June 2020 to evaluate experiences of services during the pandemic.
The report found that the majority of people had positive experiences of virtual appointments with their GPs. People reported positive experiences when using pharmacies for prescriptions and advice. Acute services also had positive reviews around treatments, feeling safe, and communication. 2 people raised issues around not knowing when their treatment/surgery would be re-starting/re-scheduled and 3 people mentioned that they had had referrals to secondary care but were unaware on when this would be happening.
