Summary of report content

This report summarises the Evaluation Day for SWALLOW charity, which was organised by Healthwatch Bath and Northeast Somerset in November 2021. This event was to reflect on SWALLOW activities from the previous year and gather feedback about the pandemic and its impact.

There were over 60 attendees at the event. The attendees reported missing SWALLOW activities and social connections, however it provided a chance to reconnect with family and allowed more time for hobbies.

Members could cope with the pandemic and recover their wellbeing by provision of activities by SWALLOW during lockdown and resuming activities after lockdown.

For the future, members stated that the most important things are friends and family, and ongoing events run by SWALLOW. Maintaining health and fitness are also important factors for SWALLOW members.
