Summary of report content

Healthwatch Tameside undertook a survey of people who were using or trying to use mental health services and their carers.  They received 21 responses, of which 13 were service users.

The report looks at:

  • Whether respondents had a mental health condition, and if not, whether they were trying to get a diagnosis
  • What type of care they were receiving
  • What was good about their care
  • What could be improved about their care
  • Whether family and carers get the support they need
