Summary of report content

In December 2017, Healthwatch Bury reviewed all Bury GP websites to ascertain what specific mental health information they contained. They also looked at whether the information and signposting is easy to find, and how appropriate the language and messages on mental health were. As part of the process, they also reviewed the information and accessibility of the sites with the Attic Project who run a group for vulnerable people with various mental health conditions.

The report highlights the importance of quality online services which are informative and user-friendly, as the population becomes increasingly more IT savvy.
