Summary of report content

This report details Healthwatch Barnet's findings of a mixed methods research project on men's attitudes towards health and care. After hearing from 300 local men, they found that income concerns and mental health difficulties can make it harder for men to take care of their health; men see exercise and diet as the dominant strategies for maintaining health; men may be less likely to engage in therapy or counselling; and many men with mental health issues do not appear to be getting any support.
