Summary of report content

Four local Healthwatch formed the Hampshire & Isle of Wight STP. These Healthwatch have contributed towards the network-wide NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) project. They engaged 889 people with surveys and focus groups.

The report found that people want easy and quick access to health care without long waiting times. People want to be more involved in their care, be listened to and feel valued. People want clear, concise and timely communication about all aspects of care. People want local services and want to be able to access these easily. People using end of life care want to feel supported. Also, people want quick and easy access to clear information to help them make decisions about their health and care.People want quick and easy access to clear information to help them make decisions about their health and care.

Suggested solution to ensure people receive personalised care, digital support, and prevention of health issues.
