Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warrington undertook research on support for people with long Covid after receiving feedback from the public that little was available.  They reached 94 people via a survey.

  • 18 people said that their GP was poor or very poor with their long Covid journey
  • People mentioned the Long Covid support service as working best during their Long Covid journey.
  • People wanted referral times and communication between patients and providers to be improved.
  • Most people felt that the most misunderstood symptoms of long Covid was fatigue and brain fog.
