Healthwatch Haringey researched and wrote up a summary of issues and concerns experienced by adult social care service users and carers during the lockdown in Haringey.
The report identifies a number of things which worked well, including community spirit and volunteering. It also identified a number of concerns including information and communication, digital inclusion, service provision for people with disabilities. New and evolving provision should consider the needs and requirements of all service users, and undetected vulnerable people
There were five recommendations about better communication, access to face to face as well as digital services, support to access digital services and default financial assistance.
