Summary of report content

This report summarises the Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset’s work with people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. Between 9 July 2020 and 8 July 2022, the Healthwatch received three pieces of feedback that specifically related to people with Autism and Learning Disabilities and commissioned three community projects.

The three bits of feedback all expressed concerns and complaints about the gaps in service and the lack of support and mental health provision for those with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The three community projects supported more than 168 individuals, listening to their experiences and offering support and signposting.
