Healthwatch Leicester wanted to explore the experience of accessing healthcare for asylum seekers living in hotels in Leicester. They spoke to 90 people.
People experienced language barriers in accessing health and social care.
People's mental health was affected by living in hotels for long periods not knowing when their application would be processed.
Access to dental care was extremely difficult.
The report contains ten recommendations about education and information for asylum seekers.
