Summary of report content

Healthwatch Surrey conducted a snap poll to gather people's experiences of health and care services during July 2020.

The report found that people praised staff for their care and treatment. Carers reported feeling the impact of cancelled activities and are feeling exhausted. A lack of hospital visiting has led to some people experiencing physical and emotional detriment. People have experienced a lack of access to dental care, although some people are experiencing difficulties finding an NHS dentist. Healthwatch Surrey also conducted a review of 128 GP websites and found that nearly all websites had clear and comprehensive COVID-19 information.
