In July, Healthwatch Surrey collected 100 people's experiences of health and social care during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The report found that people praised staff who delivered care during the pandemic. However, some people are reporting frustration about the slow return of services, where the consensus is that services remain inaccessible. People are finding the temporary funding arrangements for social care confusing, especially those who are new to care and undergoing reassessments. People commented on their discharge from hospital, often with very little information given to the patient and their family members.
