Summary of report content

Healthwatch West Sussex gathered people’s views, as part of its regular programme of quarterly reports, on their experiences of using health and social care services. Between April and June 2017 with 314 people responding through a variety of engagement events, online comments and letters and forms part of the quarterly review and report process.

The report identifies a number of negative experiences relating to GP Practices; Non-emergency patient transport; Medicines wastage and Mental Health Services.

Healthwatch West Sussex will respond to these issues through re-structuring the staff team to increase the opportunity for people to share their experiences.
