Summary of report content

Healthwatch East Sussex report on the themes in the information and signposting enquiries they received in September 2022.  During this period, they heard from 37 people.

The most common enquiry theme in September was Dentistry, with 11 enquiries. Nine of these enquiries concerned wanting help finding an NHS dentist to register with.

Seven enquiries were from people needing help registering with a GP or complaints about not being able to access the GP, including long wait times on the telephone.

Six enquiries related to unspecified or multiple services. These included enquiries about getting a new wheelchair and how to get a private ADHD assessment.

Two of three enquiries related to care homes were from people expressing concerns about the standard of care.
