Summary of report content

Healthwatch Lincolnshire report on the experiences of different groups accessing health and social care during the Covid-19 pandemic.  They undertook a survey to which 336 people responded.

The report looks at:

  • The experience of older people who often felt they were treated differently by health and social care stuff due to their age. Younger people feel that they  have been overlooked.
  • The experience of people with disabilities and long term conditions.  They expressed concerns about cancelled appointments, the value of check ups to manage their condition and not considering disability access.
  • People living in rural areas who have to travel long distances to access healthcare
