Summary of report content

Healthwatch Milton Keynes conducted a survey with 37 local residents between 30th May and 14th June 2020 to gather people's experiences during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The report found that although more people found it easy to find information, there are still some who are experiencing difficulties. People continue to have to ask for easy read information. A range of experiences with GPs have been reported, there is praise for digital appointments, however, some people have felt they have received very little communication. Hospital appointment experiences vary, also, as some have felt supported by their consultants where as others feel they have not had much support following procedures. Those requiring maternity services have felt confused and abandoned, particularly when they are experiencing pregnancy/motherhood for the first time.

No recommendations were made.
