Summary of report content

Healthwatch Milton Keynes conducted a survey with 138 local residents to collect feedback on service use during the Coronavirus pandemic from 19th May to 29th May.

The report found that more respondents are reporting difficulties in understanding information. This may be a result of the rapidly changing, and often non-specific, information that is being disseminated as the situation changes. People reporting positive experiences with GP appointments being by phone, although there are difficulties with elderly people receiving the information to access the GP. People have reported that after hospital operations, they are left without follow up support or consultations. Domiciliary care has been restricted but clients are left without communication about whether carers will be available.

No recommendations were made.
