Healthwatch Medway are undertaking a series of engagement projects with residents of different settlements in Medway to find out what matters to them.  In April 2024 they engaged with 44 people living in either Halling or Cuxton.

Key findings

  • 100% of respondents involved in community groups said they like the area in which they live
  • 98% of overall respondents like the area in which they live
  • 85% of respondents that were not involved in community groups said that where they live impacts on their health and wellbeing.
  • 75% of respondents were not involved in community groups.
  • 66% of all respondents said where they live has a positive impact on them
  • 27% of respondents said that the amount of traffic in the area has a negative impact on them
  • 23% of respondents say that not being involved in community groups doesn't affect them.
