Healthwatch Medway undertook engagement in Rainham and Twydall to understand local residents' experience of wider determinants of health. They spoke to 40 people in August 2024.

Over four in five liked where they lived.

Over two in five mentioned that the local community has a positive impact on them liking where they live.

Over a third said they liked the local amenities in the area.

Three in ten said that convenience is a positive attribute of the area.

Over a quarter mentioned the availability of local green spaces to be a positive feature of the area.

Over one in five mentioned that the quietness of the area to be a benefit and one in five said it was safe.
