Summary of report content

Healthwatch Medway undertook engagement during 2024 with residents in different parts of Medway.  This report looks at the experience of people living in Walderslade and Lordswood.  They spoke to 32 people.

Over four in five people said they liked where they lived.

Two in five people said the local community has a positive impact on them liking where they live.

Over a quarter said they like the local amenities in the area.

A quarter said that convenience is a positive attribute of the area

16% mentioned the familiarity of the local area contributes to them liking where they live.

13% mentioned the availability of local green spaces to be a positive feature of the area.
