Summary of report content

Healthwatch Luton undertook research into digital exclusion.  They undertook telephone interviews with 5 people.

People who were digitally excluded felt that they weren’t always up to date with communications about the pandemic.  They needed to rely on traditional media, and family or friends for the more immediate communications and updates relevant to the local area.

Access to GPs had been the most common health experiences for those who were digitally excluded. They had mixed experience of telephone appointments.

Some felt there was no need for them to be digitally included.

The report also looks at information about Covid-19 vaccines and attitudes to masks and social distancing.
