Summary of report content

This research project took place as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) and the subsequent lockdown that took effect in England in March 2020.

Healthwatch Together (HW Cumbria, HW Lancashire, HW Blackpool and HW Blackburn with Darwen) quickly created a survey in response to the pandemic, with the aim of finding out how the people of Cumbria and Lancashire were coping during this difficult time.

This report is a summary of the findings of the second version (v2) of the survey which ran from 22 April until 19 June 2020 and received 785 responses.  It covers the impact of the pandemic on mental health, finances, on those with pre-existing medical conditions and carers.
