Summary of report content

Healthwatch Dudley conducted a survey with 3 people affected by homelessness, substance misuse and/or mental health problems between November 2017 and May 2018.

The report found that people were not listened to when accessing NHS 111. Positive experiences were reported with the dentist, pharmacy, job centre and housing support services. Homelessness and its links with substance misuse and mental health problems mean a joined-up and well-coordinated approach to providing health and social care services is needed to properly help people.

The report outlined areas of interest for future research.
