Summary of report content

Healthwatch Blackpool revisited their 2020 research on homelessness to investigate further some of the concerns that homeless people had expressed in that project.  They spoke to 52 people.

The research explores homeless people’s experience of accessing GPs, hospital and A&E, the lack of support for mental health patients and experience of mental health services, dentistry, pharmacy, cancer screening and other services.
