In 2018/19, Healthwatch Tameside

  • Worked with Millgate Healthcare Partnership to address negative feedback about their services
  • co-designed a model for meeting mental health needs of people who are currently not receiving a service in the neighbourhoods in Tameside and Glossop
  • hosted their first student placement following work they undertook with Health and Social Care students and tutors at Tameside College as part of their research module.
  • Delivered their 1000th outreach session.
  • Received 218 people’s stories about the support with health and care that they had received
  • Were contacted by 80 new Help with NHS Complaints clients
  •  helped 169 people access the advice and information they need.
