Summary of report content

Healthwatch Swindon report on the feedback they received and the activity they have undertaken in Q1 2020/21.  They received 326 pieces of feedback during this quarter.

Issues covered in the feedback included lack of PPE for people using their direct payments to pay for PAs and for informal carers, problems in using online systems to book GP appointments, and positive and negative feedback about Prescriptions Ordering Direct.  Healthwatch raised concerns with the CCG.  They also received feedback about SEN provision and support – an issue which they are currently researching.

The report also outlines the meetings that Healthwatch Swindon have attended during this quarter, work that they have commissioned local groups to undertake and surveys they are undertaking themselves or with other organisations.
