Summary of report content

Healthwatch Hull asked members of the public to share their views and experiences of Health and Social Care services during February 2020.

131 members of the public reached out to us and completed our survey, they highlighted the following issues:

Access to appointments and services, staff attitude and communication, poor aftercare and treatment, issues with medication, refusal of prescription, missed / delayed diagnosis, waiting times, early discharge, lack of staff, GDPR issues and insufficient care and support.

Information collected from a resident residing in a care home was raised as a safeguarding concern.

This information was sent to the local authority, CQC and Hull CCG to inform them of what we have been told.

No recommendations were made in the report.
