Summary of report content

Healthwatch Derby reported on a quick social media poll about waiting times for hospital appointments. 29 people responded.

Most people had waited 2 – 4 months between their referral and the hospital appointment they last attended. Nearly two thirds used their own transport to get to their hospital appointment.

Most people found it difficult or very difficult to contact the hospital by phone.  All people who responded felt somewhat or really well informed about their treatment plan.

Nearly four in five felt that their care was good or excellent.
