Summary of report content

Healthwatch Essex was commissioned by Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB to undertake a a series of projects focussing on the lived experiences of people in the area in relation to their health, care and wellbeing.  This report focusses on the needs of armed forces veterans and members of the armed forces.  They spoke to 22 people.

The report consists of a series of extended case studies detailing the experience of people who work with the veteran community and the lived experience of veterans themselves.  The case studies explore the experience of veterans transitioning from healthcare in the armed forces to civilian healthcare services.
