Summary of report content

Healthwatch Isle of Wight report on the outcome of their GP complaints project.

Of the 17 practices visited, 8 signpost people to the surgery if they would like complaints information.  Three provided very little information on their websites.

Most staff spoken to were confident when asked about making a complaint and knew their practice's procedures well.
