The survey found that most residential care homes had access to GPs and dental care, and eye care. Other services available in most care homes included physiotherapy, chiropody, as well as the option to pay for hair and beauty appointments (e.g. nail treatments). The survey also covered processes followed in care homes following a resident fall.
